Digital paper easy to access
Priorities column
By Jeffrey M. Peyton Publilsher
For those who’ve asked how they can access The Moulton Advertiser’s electronic edition, here’s your answer:
Your user ID is simply your first initial and last name. For instance, my user ID would be “jpeyton.”
Your password is “advertiser.”
Each week, our circulation department uploads all new subscribers (and all expired accounts) to the online system, so every current subscriber should have no trouble accessing the newspaper online.
Which means, according to several of Murphy’s Laws, some of you will have trouble logging in.
That’s OK. Jerrie Nell is here to help you through it and get you logged in quickly and efficiently. You can call 974-1114 and ask for help, or send an email to Jerrie Nell at classifieds@moultonadvertiser.com, or to me at peyton@moultonadvertiser.com.
Whichever of us you call on, we’ll get into the system and make sure you’re set up properly. If you are, we’ll help you get logged on. If you’re not, we’ll get that fixed and then help you get logged on.
The Advertiser’s e-edition is different from our website. It is a premium service exclusively for our subscribers. It is not a few top stories and photos, but rather the entire newspaper — every story, every photo, every page, every ad — in a digital form so you can access it from anywhere with a computer and Internet connection.
As an added convenience to our readers and advertisers, the e-edition is designed to make all hyperlinks (like www.moultonadvertiser.com) active, which means that if an ad catches your eye, and you see a link, it will take you directly to the advertiser’s web site (or email address).
Internet-based newspapers may be fashionable, but we aren’t producing our e-edition as part of any fad.
Instead, we are working to provide our subscribers with their local news and information by any and every means available.
To accommodate our readers, we’ve made staying up to date with modern technology a top priority.
