Two patients were transported to a Huntsville trauma center following a two-vehicle crash on Alabama 33 in Moulton on Tuesday, according to Fire Chief Ryan Jolly.

Jolly said the incident happened near Crow Veterinary Clinic on AL-33, north of Moulton, around 11 a.m. on Tuesday. He said a passenger vehicle overturned and the first patient was trapped inside the vehicle when first responders arrived.

The driver of the second passenger vehicle involved was also injured, he said.

“(Both patients) were transported by ambulance because all helicopters declined a scene flight due to weather,” Jolly said. “All injuries were serious but appeared to be non-life threatening.”
