Join Wild South Sunday, Aug. 11 at their office in Moulton for a book-signing event with renowned photographer and forest advocate Charles Seifried from 1 to 3 p.m.
Seifried, whose work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today, The Economist, Business Week and National Geographic among others, has spent much of his career documenting wild landscapes of the South.
He recently appeared in the Present Tense Podcast, “The Fight for Alabama’s Last Wild Places,” presented by Anne Markham Bailey and her partners at Wild South.
His book, Alabama Outdoors: The Sky, the Sea, and All Between, offers a collection of photographs highlighting the state’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
The book will be available for purchase at the book-signing Sunday. All proceeds from the sale will benefit Wild South’s Alabama Outreach and Education (ALOE) program.
The event is open to the public and free to attend.
