Mayor recognized by Alabama League of Municipalities

Moulton Mayor Roger Weatherwax was recognized as a member of the 24th graduating class of Certified Municipal Officials during a special ceremony that was held in Prattville on Thursday, Oct. 3. Weatherwax completed 40 credit hours of training endorsed by the Alabama League of Municipalities to qualify for the certification. The training program was created in 1994 and instituted a series of one-day continuing education programs for mayors and councilmembers who voluntarily wish to receive formal training in municipal government. Weatherwax is pictured with ALM Vice President Leigh Dollar, who also serves as the mayor for Guntersville.
