Willow Tree to reopen in Moulton

Owner Craig Johnston said his new facility will offer The Willow Tree more showroom and booth space for his vendors, a larger coffee shop, and additional parking for customers.

The Willow Tree, an antiques and collectibles store that perished from events following the April 22 fire that destroyed three other businesses on Court Street in Moulton, announced that it will reopen at 14888 Court Street, near Ink & Thread printing company.

Owner Craig Johnston said the business will reopen tentatively on Thursday, July 18, with more showroom space, a larger coffee shop, new additional vendors, additional booths for vendors, more parking space and more furniture and artisan items.

“So happy to officially let our customer family know that we are set to reopen either the second or third week of July,” Johnston posted to Facebook last week. “We will reopen on a Thursday and kick off with a big weekend!”

The Willow Tree, which was once housed in the building adjacent to Wilkerson Diamonds on the Moulton Square, lost its structure to the fire along with Court Street Grill, De JaVu Salon and Tucker’s Accessory Tire and Auto.
