The Tennessee Valley Beekeeping Association and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University are offering beekeeping courses at Moulton Church of Christ on Saturday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Feb. 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The January session is a beginner’s course that serves as a crash course for anyone interested in backyard beekeeping. An intermediate course will be offered on Feb. 16 for beekeepers who have any range of experience with the hobby.

The courses will be taught by experienced beekeepers from the Beekeeping Association. 

Registration must be completed at least four days before the class. Each session cost $25 to register; lunch and door prizes are included in each course.
