A Hiring Fair, hosted by Express Employment Professionals, is coming to the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce in Moulton on Wednesday.

Express Employment Professionals, a nationwide staffing company with locations in Decatur and Huntsville, will host the job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chamber Office on July 22, and is seeking to hire employees for over 75 different job openings, according to a press release from Chamber Director Craig Johnston.

"Express is recruiting for several different area employers to fill immediate job openings for light industrial, skilled trades, and office service," the release states. "Recruiters will be onsite to take your application, answer questions, and match applicants with available jobs."

Johnston said the Chamber will also host a virtual conference, which will be lead by Express Employment Professionals, around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, to better inform and educate participants on "searching for employment through a staffing agency versus trying to find employment themselves."

At minimum, the session will take place via conference call, but organizers are also looking into hosting the presentation via Zoom, Johnston said.

The conference is free to any public subscribers, he added. Links or contact information, which will be emailed to Chamber members, will also be added to the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce website when it becomes available, Johnston said.

The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is located at 15379 Highway 24 in Moulton. For more information, contact the Chamber office at 256-974-1658.
