2019 Moulton Advertiser All-County softball team

Berryman was named the Lawrence County softball player of the year 


The 2019 Moulton Advertiser All-County softball team has been announced. 

The players on the team were nominated and selected by the coaches in the county. 

Hatton’s Ashley Berryman was selected as the 2019 softball player of the year for Lawrence County. 

After spending her sophomore year battling through injuries, the 2017 state MVP responded with a stellar Junior season. 

Berryman finished the season with a win loss record of 26-8 and an ERA of 1.19. She finished with 197 strikeouts. 

Berryman also had a strong season at the plate, batting a .410 average and finishing with 14 homeruns and 68 RBIs. 

The rest of the first team is as followed: 

Emma Latham, Hatton (.489 average, 89 hits, 15 homeruns. Also led Lawrence County with 44 stolen bases). 

Briley Pitt, East Lawrence (struck out 232 batters, .478 batting average, 15 homeruns. )

Bradyn Mitchell, Hatton (.445 average, 49 hits, 4 homeruns) 

Sadie Thompson, Lawrence County (.365 average, 46 hits, 3 homeruns) 

Mallory Lane, Hatton (.353 average, 59 hits, 5 homeruns) 

Rylie Terry, Lawrence County (.349 average, 44 hits, 31 RBIs) 

Tori Crow, East Lawrence (.377 average, 40 hits, 3 homeruns) 

Cloey Lovelady, Hatton (.333 average, 52 hits, 41 RBIs) 

The second team All-County is as followed:
